It is one of the largest brick buildings of that kind in Europe and the most important historical monument within the Old Town of Torun. Old Gothic beauty, around 7 centuries old. Incredible! You cannot miss it.

Beautiful museum, it deserves a two hours visit, and for dessert don't miss the tower, about 176 steps, without an elevator, but if you can don't miss it.

The trip up the tower is absolutely worth it, with a stunning panorama of Torun and plent of photo opportunities. However the museum is just... meh. It's a bunch of old objects locked up in glass cabinets, all carefuly labeled, but without much context. The...More

Although we went only up to the tower- it was amazing experience! View is amazing over whole Torun and Vistula river. My son counted 164 steps- but not very steep and lots of stops and displays on the way up

The most important thing is to visit the tower. The panoram view of Torun is amazing with all old building. You'd can even see the the house of Mikołaj Kopernik.

It is quite a climb to to top but you have stops along the way as they have put pictures and information up in rooms along the way to tell you the history of the Town Hall

I went for the tower. Narrow staircase with low headroom that opens into rooms and cubbies on the way up. You go through the bell rooms and the bells are ringing so be prepared. The view from the top is worth the work. Tallest structure...More
