- LeeNew Tredegar, United Kingdom2 contributionsThe fear factor is real!Recently went to Lost Souls Alley with my wife on our honeymoon. I’m not big on scares but she likes that kind of thing so we gave it a go. Worth me pointing out that we went for the green option, which supposedly meant the actors could interact with you and touch you but that they wouldn’t cause any harm to you - just a fright! Had a real scare and ended up coming out early as it was a little too much for us. Must say the quality of the props, rooms and actors was top notch and the fear factor was real throughout. The games and riddles weren’t too difficult and but made the experience better! If any criticism at all it was maybe just a little bit too hands on and grabby for what was one of the lightest options. Would recommend to anyone who is into a good scare and does not mind grabbing or pulling around.Visited January 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten January 29, 2020
- Beatrice L2 contributionsBest scary fun I ever hadMe and 3 friends did green level and it was the first time for everyone. I usually don't like horror and scary stuff but genuinely had an amazing time and I was as scared as much as I was having fun, so it was perfectly balanced. The location is really good, the actors are very realistic and never break the character, absolutely terrifying. Two of them grabbed me from behind but didn't hurt me at all and easily let me go, which was perfect for green. Also got a crush on the dude with a straitjacket and face mask who tried to kidnap me so greetings to him. Definitely recommending the green version.Visited January 2020Traveled with friendsWritten January 28, 2020
- Janice BRotherham, United Kingdom10 contributionsScariest and funniest attraction in KrakowI found Lost Souls Alley on trip advisor whilst planning my solo trip to Krakow and really wanted to visit. However, whilst reading the “rules” on their website I wasn’t sure whether to try it with being a woman on my own and I definitely didn’t want to go in alone! I called in at Lost Souls Alley (which is in the very centre of the old town) to see what was what. Despite putting the address in Google maps it’s hard to find. It’s not very well signposted and you have to go down an alleyway and up a flight of stairs to find the reception. The guy was very helpful and explained that 6 people are allowed per booking, so if I looked online for a time slot that had less than 6 spaces it would mean that someone else had already booked that slot. The booking system is my only complaint regarding LSA. I wanted to book the green version but it turns out you can only book pink/green and on arrival the whole group must decide which version they want to do. So if you turn up on the day and the other people outnumber you, you either have to cancel or do a version that you don’t want to! I booked a particular time slot for the following day but later received a phone call from LSA. They had noted that I was British but I’d booked on a time slot with Polish people. They offered me another time slot with English speaking people. I really appreciated the call and accepted the change of time slot but it makes me wonder why they don’t offer Polish/English/other language options on their booking system? The experience itself was amazing and very scary. Don’t expect too much in terms of “escape room” experiences. It’s very basic in so much as you’re usually looking for a key or way to escape the room. It’s more about the fear than challenging puzzles 🫣 It’s very dark and if you’re doing the green (hands on) experience the actors will touch you and try to separate you from the group but they won’t hurt you! I don’t want to give too much away, but the first room is probably the scariest because it’s pitch black and you don’t know what to expect. After that it becomes more scarily fun! The website warns that you might get injured. I scraped my arm and hand whilst running away from actors, but that was my own doing. I found it funny that the guy at reception had an antiseptic spray to hand so minor injuries are obviously common. You can pay a small amount to get photos of your experience shared on Flickr. You get a password and after 4 days you can access CCTV stills from your experience. It’s clear that no thought has gone into choosing these stills as they’re not the best images, but as you get over 100 images it’s reasonable value for money. The experience itself is 5 stars and I’d definitely do it again and recommend it to others. The booking system could do with some improvements and I don’t know why they don’t signpost themselves better from the street as they’d probably get more ad hoc bookings.Visited September 2023Traveled soloWritten September 24, 2023

Two of us were just looking for something to do to kill some time before our flight home and we are SO glad we found this! So much fun, absolutely terrifying, all we could talk about for the rest of the day! Already looking at booking a trip to Krakow specifically to bring more friends to have a go!

Terrifying! We sadly only managed one room, as we were both too scared to continue, it is PITCH black, i’m not sure how safe it really is, but never mind. The entrance and booking desk are dusty and run down, perhaps this is to add to the experience?

Was taken here on my birthday, thought we were going to a spa and what a shock this turned out to be. Never been so scared in my life but was so much fun and so glad we did it. Definitely recommend if you like a good scare

I would not recommend this place to anyone, the house was like a derelict building, when I went in to the toilet there was no toilet paper, I had to ask to be provided with some. We were not warned of any hazards prior to the activity. I got to the third room where a blind goul was attempting to chase us in the room, my daughter got out of the tunnel in the room and I followed only to fall from height due to the lack of light and lack of knowledge that there was an old fridge freezer at the end of the tunnel which I fell off. I knocked my head and hand on the wall which was immediately to my right, twisted my leg and knocked my elbow and in doing this have injured my ribs resulting in me having to go to hospital when I returned back to the UK. This activity would never be allowed in the UK. I wish I’d never have gone and thank god I went on the last day of my holiday!

good experience, quite scary. more of an escape room than a horror museum. 1 person in our group dropped out before it had even started due to fear and didn’t get a refund so bear this in mind.

The title sums it up. We was doing the “green version” and it was extremely scary. The actors are a little bit physical, but they informed us about that beforehand, so we knew that before we started. The feeling of that anything can happend and that not many things are “of limits» made it scarier. We paid to have fun and get scared and they delivered.

Had to abort this half way due to my gf finding it way too scary and claustrophobic, but the first ten minutes were amazing! Half really freaky haunted house, half very simple escape room.

My code for photographs isn’t working I keep putting it in and it’s not recognized ? Don’t want to leave review until it works.
It takes 3-5 days for the photographs to go up. I think it was on the 5th day for me.
Do they accept credit cards?

I can see on their website that there’s pricing for photos. Do I need to add this to my basket when booking online (because I can’t see this option) or do you pay extra on arrival for photos? Thanks!

I booked over the phone and paid when we arrived and was told about the option to buy photos then. I bought them (very reasonable price) and was glad I did. I think they were stills taken from the CCTV, so not great quality, but still worth it as my boys are able to relive the experience by looking at the photos.
