It's a must see in our option, before the remove the locks like we have been told will happen in the near future. - Blair3 contributionsThe "Bridge with All The Locks" that you've likely heard of.Lovely crossing with nice views down the river both sides. The sculptures hanging from the suspension arms give the bridge great character; but the stand-out feature has to be the locks. I found Kraków to be a relaxed city full of kind people and affectionate couples. These locks provide a very literal realisation of this in a way that's bound to bring a smile to your face.Visited April 2024Traveled soloWritten April 15, 2024

Beautiful pedestrian bridge over the Vistula dedicated to Father Bernatek. Built in 2010 in place of an old bridge, it is 145 meters long, curved and has two lanes, one pedestrian and one cycle. In the evening, multicolored LEDs illuminate it suggestively and it is the best time to cross it. It unites the Kazimierz and Podgorze neighborhoods (Ghetto, Synagogue). A further scenographic aspect is that of the beautiful sculptures of acrobats by the sculptor Jerzy Kedzior, hanging from the tie rods of the bridge. I recommend going there in the evening and reaching the splendid Church of San Giuseppe.

To be honest I only walked across this to go between Kazimierz and Podgórze as the bridge links the two districts. It was actually a nice bridge erected over the Vistula River. Clean and well kept. There was some sort of popular tradition of couples attaching padlocks engraved with their names to the railings of the bridge! Loved the statues as well. Read up on it. Not the most scenic but you can see the River and you are likely to walk around the area anyway whilst visiting the city. Worth a stop.

Took brother and sister in law to visit prisoner of war camp their dad was held in. Salt mine a great surprise for them and the fact that it was Krakow's Xmas market they were expecting nothing like that. Recommend to anyone - taxis are carriages are a fair size pulled by two horses.

Modern pedestrian bridge that connects the two banks of the Vistula near the Jewish quarter. Very suggestive at night as it is excellently enhanced by the lighting. The figures of jugglers perched between the support cables of the structure are amusing.

We stubbled across this bridge on the way to somewhere depressing. ..what a lovely sight. Lots of messages on padlocks, some old some new. Only problem there was no shop at either end selling padlocks!!! We wanted to do the same but alas it wasn't to be. Next time though ♡♥

We came under this on a good River Visla Cruise from Castle.
This is a really pleasing bridge on this tour.
Good architecture and you can see the manequins hanging from the structure. Also the padlocks of lovers who then throw the keys in the River.

Anyone know where u can buy a padlock from? Im krakow now

Perhaps they have a padlock in the shop "Delikatesy i Kawiarnia Klubczyk" which is located in Mostova 14 - on the north side of the bridge.
Have a nice holiday!
