Contemporary Art is not something I usually enjoy and understand however the Mocak was a great visit and better than I expected.
There was an exhibition about Krakow during WW2 and the Holocaust where there were explanations of the art if you were unsure.
Downstairs seemed the weird and wonderful, which was enjoyable to browse.

Very cool presentation of contemporary art in Kraków. I think there are probably much better presentations of contemporary art but it is nice to check out this scene. I am sure it will evolve into a more complex and integrated display of media and subject matter.

We visited the art gallery straight after visiting the Schindler Factory museum as they are very close and you can buy a combined ticket. The building is fantastic and we loved the artworks. Lots of thought-provoking things to consider. The cafe does great coffee too!

We have been to the museum twice. The first time there was an excellent exhibition on gender, and the same time there was an equally good exhibition on food, food and its importance to our lives. All artists and works of art are well chosen, and many works are subtle and thoughtful. We became inspired and wiser on the angle of life, vanity and the meaning of food.
It is clearly recommended to see the exhibition.
It's even cheap.

Very interesting museum to visit with some great exhibitions and art work. Each piece had an explanation on the wall or nearby and it was great to see the artists vision. Some really quirky and interesting stuff in there. Would definitely recommend!

If you're a fan of contemporary art, I definitely recommend! Really aesthetic building with cool exposition that covers modern-day issues in society but also pleases the eye. People are great, gift shop is great and there's also nice coffe place in the building (you get discount for coffee if you purchase the ticket). Must see for modern art lovers !

Museum of contemporary art is adjacent to Schindlers factory museum.
The "Food in art" temporary exhibition (September 2024) is really very provocative (as "modern/contemporary" art claims to be!), but also ludicrous, disgusting and pointless. It's really a "bric-à-brac" difficult to digest.

Really enjoyed our visit to MOCAK, some superb prices of art. Some thought provoking pieces too. As art should be. Easy to wander around at your own pace and marvel at the work. You can take photos too.

We came here on a Monday and it was closed but the friendly staff said come back tomorrow and it is free!!!!!! but we would have been more than happy to pay the fee as it is worth it. Thought provoking art, many talking points and some of the most surreal pieces we have ever seen. Loved it.

Stumbled upon this museum which is located directly behind the more well known Oskar Schindler Factory museum. The white, minimalist interior is an oasis of calm. Some interesting exhibits but I enjoyed the impressive architecture of the building itself the most. The stylish cafe bar is a good place to relax after a few hours of walking in the city.

Written March 19, 2018
Πιθανόν να βγάζεις και online αλλά εμείς το αγοράσαμε στα εκδοτήρια του μουσείου Σίντλερ.

hi, would really like to know whether the train works have been completed,or do I have to walk the fairly long detour.
Written November 12, 2016
Train works are still in progress. The best way it's take a tram thats stops in Zabłocie or Plac Bohaterów Getta.
