The Museum of Communist Poland is quite difficult to review. I spent there some time and actually enjoyed myself - in a way as it is mostly depressing - those weren't good times and having some memories and knowledge on that times even enlarges that...More

It is a great idea to get a tram to this neighborhood, walk around it and visit the museum, with its all artifacts and the amazing underground shelter.

Really interesting visit, i might be biased as I'm from a family that sent parcels through the seventies and eighties. Really interesting seeing it from the poles side. At least the communists built shelters and when you look at the relative number of warheads maybe...More

The idea behind the museum - a look at life under communism in Poland - is a great concept. The location, a cinema built in the 1950s, is a suitable choice as it has plenty of character. And what the museum has is good -...More

The permanent exhibition is not ready yet but it's worth visiting. We went there during Open Days and it was a good idea because without a guide we wouldn't have learnt so much.

The museum is in a unique building and does a decent job of describing communism in several countries. The bunker was interesting but not the best one we've toured. If you enjoy Cold War history, this museum is worth the trip to Nowa Huta.

First of all, this place has opened not such a long time ago and it is still in development, I think. The building itself is already quite interesting since it is an old cinema. The exhibition in the upstairs room was okay, there were mostly...More
