A must if you visit Katowice. The brick houses make the district special, and its a pleasure to walk around. Apart from walking and having a coffee, not much to do, unless having a guide.

Brick town, old and historic architecture, but few cafés and restaurants. Beautiful historic church.

You can stroll here with admiring the architecture of good times of Katowice where coal miners lived with their families. They admired the values of having a large family and faith in God. You can visit also St Anne's church nearby.

Workers' housing estate, a pearl of social housing architecture; designed in the early twentieth century. Lovely place, really worth a visit. I'm from Katowice, I can assure you it's the place that will show you how people in Silesia used to live in the past.
