We stayed at an Airbnb place in the neighbourhood. The buildings were somewhat unique and our apartment had been very nicely renovated. But we were obviously outsiders and people barely recognized our presence and nobody was friendly.

A must if you visit Katowice. The brick houses make the district special, and its a pleasure to walk around. Apart from walking and having a coffee, not much to do, unless having a guide.

Brick town, old and historic architecture, but few cafés and restaurants. Beautiful historic church.

You can stroll here with admiring the architecture of good times of Katowice where coal miners lived with their families. They admired the values of having a large family and faith in God. You can visit also St Anne's church nearby.
