One of the most beautiful streets in Gdansk. There are very nice buildings, and many shops with handmade products from amber, such as jewellery and home decorations, which are very interesting to look at.

This is a nice pedestrians-only street in the old part of Gdansk. You can buy amber in one of the many stores here. Worth stopping by.

One of the gems of Gdansk. The lovely staircases with the sculptured gutters are nice and unique. If you are into Amber there is a lot to see.

Here you can still see the old Gdansk and it used to be long time ago. If you're in amber there are several shops to choose from.

In this street you find the Mariacka restaurant, a little bistro, where I had the best Pirog of my life! It’s a very small place, but very, very special....cash only. It’s one of a king place to have your Pirog! I recomend!

This Street runs from water toward St Mary’s church and is less crowded with many wonderful buildings with many selling amber tastefully. Was very glad to find it.

This charming cobbled street is full of shops and stalls selling amber ( Baltic gold ) during the day. But the architecture of the beautiful townhouses is the most interesting feature. They have terraces raised above street level many of which are open as cafes...More

I lived in the Old Town for few years. In the summer you can expect some moderate noises at night. Although, there are no pubs, just few cafes, people tend to walk there until late in the night. In the winter it's a calm... More
