Spent a good couple of hours here, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the model ship exhibits were expertly displayed. It was free to visit the museum.

The museum is located next door to the crane thereby making a combined trip worthwhile. A comprehensive exhibition of the history of the port of Gdansk and visiting/non-permanent displays. Allow two hours

There is not much to see. Unfortunately we were really disappointed from the exhibition and have seen everything in 20 min. At least the entrance was really cheap and you get a nice view trough the window on the river.

The women supervisors were so officious and rude shouting commands at us the entire museum visit. So many signs to say what you can't do. Was followed around the whole time. Also no information was in English.

Abolutely worth a visit. Really nice and interesting ship history present over 2 floors. A small ferry will take you to the other side of the channel for a visit to the crane as well. Worth the time spent. Rekommended!

Interesting museum split over a number of locations both sides of the river. Ensure that you buy the combo ticket that gives you admission into both museums ,either side of the river, the Crane and the Soldek ship. Allow at least 3 hours to cover all...More

Maritime museum offers 3 different museums to be visited on the both sides of the river Motlawa. The Soldek ship is the bonus actually being the 4th museum belonging into the Maritime museum. Recommended place to visit!

Covering about 5 floors, this museum is full of original artifacts from pre-historic periods through the 19th century. Displays are well-organized. Laminated English guides are in pockets all through the museum so that you could read an entire book worth of information if you chose...More
