Old town of Gdansk is a small and friendly town with lots of Nice restaurants and small shops. IT is relaxing just to stroll about The town and look Into a Church or a museum or just enjoy a class of wine along The river.

We love wandering around and there's so much to see and do in the old town, lots of great restaurants, historic houses, etc. It's hard to imagine most are reconstructions from the ruins of WWII.

Magnificent old town. Wonderful architecture. Tons of attractions for all. Very good public transportation. Gets very busy and crowded in season and weekends...

The old town is amazing, and the architecture is fabulous and full of bright colors. Really nice to walk through the old town and along the Dluga Street, where you can find nice restaurant and see the Neptune statue.

I highly recommend visiting Gdansk Old Town. No matter what the season, whether you're freezing in the winter, or soaking up the sun in the Summer, it's an incredible experience with loads of amazing buildings and good restaurants!

Originally did this with friends but also as part of our Amber tour. It was great to have the history of the place from our very knowledgeable guide Mirek. This whole area has been rebuilt in it's natural historical style after WW2 and is beautiful....More

If you're coming into Gdynia then no. If it's midweek the cabs are very reasonable.
