The palace is just a large hall with some rooms leading from it. The huge Gothic vaulted Vladislav hall is mostly empty with most of its floor cordoned off leaving a narrow passage along its walls. One of the rooms leading from the hall is...More

We paid for the B ticket and in my opinion this palace was the least interesting from all the attractions included in the price. The palace is empty and the information boards in English are not that many(that is if you manage to see them...More

The large gothic Vladislav Hall in the Old Royal Palace within the Prague Castle has witnessed some real big political events since the 16th century, including sumptuous banquets and royal coronations. This large room can be visited with the Prague Castle entry ticket and it's...More

For me it was complete waste of time. At first you had to stay in a long queue to enter. Then you, step by step, very slow move through huge Vladislav hall where you could see only the celling because nothing more are exhibited there....More

Poor. Not a lot to see, not a lot of description for those not on a guided or audio tour. There should be lots of internal furnishings not just empty buildings ... we had to pay an entrance fee (combined ticket) so liven it up...More

We paid to do circuit B and decided to see the palace last. Perhaps if we had seen it before the cathedral we would have felt it was more impressive. However after seeing the cathedral first we couldn't help but compare that this was much...More

OLD ROYAL PALACE is a splendid piece of architecture that looks amazing . The palace exterior is well maintained and the mix of gothic and renaissance style architecture looks very evocative. The palace dates from the 12 century and has some serious history attached to...More
