Really nice modern building highlighted by the guliver on the roof. Worth coming for this alone. The collaboration exhibit of glass artists CHIHULY – LIBENSKÝ – BRYCHTOVÁ is interesting though if you have seen CHIHULY at the Bronx botanical gardens in NY last year it...More

I am not an art lover so for me to really enjoy a gallery says a lot. This was so weird and funny and well done that I spent much longer than I thought here. I went for a special Chihuly exhibit and spent quite...More

A walk inside the suspended Gulliver Airship on the roof is worth a visit alone, but the exhibits are also fantastic. The glass art of Dale Chihuly, Stanislav Libenský and Jaroslava Brychtová currently on display is bewildering, best enjoyed on psychedelics, but inspiring even without...More

After 4 days exploring the Wenceslas Square, Old Town & Prague Castle neighborhoods we were ready for something a little off the beaten track and, frankly, away from the throngs of tourists in the town centre. The DOX Centre of Contemporary Art fit the bill...More

... but ultimately disappointing. Perhaps it was the time when I visited, but there was very little on display in this large, rambling building. The building is huge and has its quirky attractions (such as the "Gulliver Airship" up on the roof), but there is...More

It's May. Prague is bursting with visitors. We love to see modern art in every city we visit. And yet DOX is mostly closed? Why would they reduce their exhibitions by more than half just when the patrons are ready to visit? We walked a...More

We took metro and bus to DOX, which is far from every other thing in Prague. A very modern place /Buildings with 3-4 floors , without too many visitors. The exhibition called Determination was good and unforgetable. I like the short movie where several men...More

My girlfriend really wanted to come here as she likes contemporary art. The art was a bit weird and abstract, as expected, however overall it was interesting and thought provoking. There were a few exhibitions that were closed which was disappointing because we both wanted...More
