Trip prices for adults are 100czk one way and 150czk return ticket. Line is huge and not all people who got tickets can get in, therefore there is a need to wait for the next cable car (which goes approximately every 15 min) in small crowded cash desk area. Definitely it is not number one attraction in Karlovy Vary ;)

This is a very easy and affordable way to get to the Diana Observation Tower. My recommendation is to get the Karlovy Vary Card which will also get you and your family free access to the Butterfly Observatory. There were two funiculars operating with routes up and down about every 15 min. Our kids loved it and the views are great.

The trip up is really fun. Good views of the area and an easy way to get to the top. Typical cable ride that does its job.

Use the funicular is a very convenient way to get to the Diana lookout tower. The ride, including a stopover at the “Deer Leap” (Jelení skok) station takes four minutes and the ride is available every 15 minutes. The round-trip ticket costs 110,- CZK. The funicular is situated next to hotel Pupp and looks a bit like a piece of history. But it is worth to try it.

and walking down. The funnicular is rather typical, though it has some historical value. There are queues by the lower station in the high season, so take that into account while planning.

A short ride up takes you to the hill where you can enjoy view of the city from the tower and have some food at the restaraunt Diana just at the upper station. Would reccomend going down by foot to enjoy forest and views

As said in the title it is a piece of history. When you are taking a ride with it you fell how old it is. Sometimes some noices make you worry on what is wrong but in the end it is all OK.
You can choose if you want a ride both/ one way or if just midway.
Check beforehand from what time till when it is open as it changes based on the seasons.
