This is a beautiful square, surrounded by small shops and cafes. It provided a different feeling, as it offered a spacious view of the square as opposed to the narrow cobble-stoned streets. The Plague Column is worth a visit.

While the fountain is indeed in the middle of the square, this alone wasn’t the highlight for me. The highlight was siting on the fountain and imagining Hitler being here in person and Stalin’s tanks rumbling through the square. Puts a lot in perspective. Highly...More

Around the lazy squere,the main squere of Cesky Krumlov.People of the city,and lot of tourists everytime are visiting this Column .Plague Column is one of the most beautiful in Europe,for me.I offer the visit to the Plague Column for everybody.

Important to see in the main square of the city if you are there but not for going out of your way. Try to pass it.

Such installations are great in reminding us about the uncertainty of human life. A paradise such as this also can be invaded by wrath from hell. The tower is just in center of the town square, for all to see.
