One of the famous devi temples in Kerala. 2 sized diety is the main attraction. We need to bow down to see the main big diety. Otherwise, we can see only the small one. Various other dieties are there in surroundings.

We group of 6 members had darshan at Chettikulangara recently and it was really wonderful. Won't express in words. Must visit temple and can spend some quality peaceful time here

The temple is located 7 kms away from Kayamkulam ( NH side ) near mavelikara. The main diety is Sree Bhadra Kali. Its one of the main temples under Travencore devaswam board in terms of revenue earnings. The important festivals are Parayeduppu and Kumbha Bharani....More

Traditional temple with big Idol. If u want to see it fully one need to bend half. Chettikulangara bharani utsavam(kumbha bharani and meena bharani festivals) in February and March are famous with kettukazhcha and kuthiyottam.

Attracts a lot of people for Devi's mysterious divine powers. Kuthiyottam and Kettukazhcha are the most famous, important divine festive annual events of the temple.It attracts lakhs of people from the area as well as far off places.

Very interesting to see how this quiet place transforms to an ocean of activities and people for two nights and two days during the bharani festival. Pomp, spirtuality and people make it a grand event. Try to participate at least once
