An impressive church with a crypt underneath where the early Jesuits were entombed. Fascinating. The Church is a striking piece of architecture. Add to this that Saint Mary MacKillop spent time here on retreat, her younger brother studied for the priesthood here for a time,...More

I rode here on a bike and the church was open. It was lovely inside and then you could cycle around the ruins . It was great to learn the history and just a peaceful lace surrounded by vineyards.

We went there to explore the district and was very happy with what we saw and discovered. Nice to not have tp wine taste every time but to see the region and part of its history
