We had a great stroll in the Queens Gardens. They had a large cacti garden. It was amazing! We saw so many different cacti. Wow! Beautiful! It also had lots of species of palm trees, big or small. I like these too! We found lots...More

Beautiful gardens that are well kept. I went of an evening when the council had put on events (which they regularly do) and the atmosphere was excellent. Good to see these grounds being enjoyed. Just be sure to take mosquito repellant.

My teenage daughter and I visited the Queens Gardens this afternoon and were immediately taken by the beauty of these small but beautiful gardens. You can probably walk all around them in about 5-10 minutes but we spent slightly longer to enjoy the moment. Even...More

Quite nice gardens and certainly worth a visit. A great place for some solitude and respite from the tropical heat.

Amazing beauty everywhere you look in these stunning gardens. The colors are beautiful, both in the flowers and trees. They are beautiful gardens to wander around, finding a new treasure at every turn or to just sit quietly and contemplate life.

Lovely walk through yesterday afternoon, a wedding had taken place and still had some of the decorations in the large trees, nice selection of palm, trees and under plantings, worth a visit, aviary still closed

A beautiful oasis in the city. But take insect repellent if you're loved by mozzies! They were voracious!

A very pleasant walk in a well set out garden, sadly the aviary advertised was closed and mosquitoes abounded but still worth the visit. I particularly enjoyed looking at the variety of cacti.
