Awesome place to surf Locals speak fluent English and it’s better to fly into Aguadilla. If you fly into San Juan it takes 3 hours to get there so I suggest you choose your airport carefully! We love the waves the surf ship and the restaurant at Maria’s beach! We are going back for sure!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is rocky when you go in the water. Wear water shoes. Parking lot is dirt. Bar up top is fun to have drinks and watch surfers :)

We had a lovely walk along this beach! Sat down for a bit and just watched the surfers catching as many waves as they could.

We took surf lessons on this beach. The waves were decent and the instructor was really great. If you're diligent you can even find a few beautiful shells to treasure

This beach is a little south of the El Faro lighthouse & park.
It is mostly a surfing beach. There are some large coral outcrops in the water to the right where the waves come in - be careful!
This is a gathering place where prople come to hang out & check the surf. The Calypso Bar and some other small establishments are at the top of the hill near the road. The beach is below.
Go check it out with the locals and have a Medallia.

This is a great surfing beach. My nephew went surfing here and loved it. He had a surf guide that I booked through Surf787.com. The owner's name is Roger and his guide was Tito. It was a great price for 4 hours of surfing. It gave my husband and I a piece of mind that he was safe. Maria's beach can have big waves and you have to paddle far to get out.

wanted to see the surf at Maria's but the waves were breaking the day I was here at 25 feet. At high tide with waves that high there wasn't much beach to sit on so we watched the surf from the Calyso gill and bought a few t-shirts at the gifts shops. They rent body boards and gear but the surf was so high there were not many hearty souls who were attempting that surf and the heavy undertows.
