This was a nostalgic visit as it was a favorite winery 30+ years ago! Unfortunately the fave wine Our Entertainer is no longer available. No more ginger wine. Some of our group enjoyed the new varieties. They managed to buy some!

We had a great time and spent a lot of money here. The brothers are very knowledgeable about their wines. They are also in no hurry to get you out, we had very long conversation about foxes and overdevelopment, we agreed foxes are the lesser...More

Fantastic seller door. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Been to a few winerys in hunter region and i have to say the owners here make you feel welcome and not just a taster wasting time. Been visiting mansfield wines on and off 30 years. Never...More

A visit to Mansfield winery is a refreshing experience for anybody wanting to try 'old style' wines that have for too long, taken a backseat to the current popular varieties of shiraz, cabernet, merlot, sauvignon and chardonnay. It was a revelation tasting the likes of...More

The cellar door itself does not have a lot of character, but the two guys behind the bar, their wine and their trusty furry companion, have character in spades. I was hard pressed to not enjoy their full bodied reds. Refreshing to have Mediterranean notes...More

This was the perfect winery for me - unique wines and a great host. I live the opportunity to try wine varieties out of the standard. Some very interesting spainish wines. Found the host knowledgeable without ever been made to feel stupid. Would return again...More

We've been visiting the Mudgee region for over 30 years, and have done many of the local attractions and wineries. In all that time I have never had anyone tell me to try Mansfield Wines, which I think is a real shame. Perhaps not as...More

This winery is different. Smaller than many, focusing on unusual varieties that grow in the Mediterranean and which are ideally suited to the Mudgee climate and terrain. The owner is so enthusiastic you cannot help but buy some wine and it is very good wine...More
