The beach is long, very clean with white sand and pretty flat to the water. We have been there in early spring but I am sure it would be very nice in summer too!

It's no wonder that so many people come to Binz for time at the beach or shopping! The shell-riddled sand, dotted with volleyball courts, the fish stands and restaurants--this a gem on Ruegen island. If you're on Ruegen, you should stop here for a couple...More

The strand at Binz goes on for miles and miles. The sand is fine and white and Strandkoerbe (funny little deck chairs) are everywhere to be seen. Contrary to my expectations of Baltic Sea resorts, the climate here is relatively mild and the sea wonderful...More

Went here in early September the sun was shining and the beach was very busy. The sea was cool but partner enjoyed the swim. There is a lovely promenade with plenty of little stalls and and the main shops are just off from the beach....More

We've stayed there for 1 day only. It was ok. It is clean, there are some bars on the beach, wc and some kind of small beach summer houses/pavilions to rent. The beach is not far away from the train station (10 minutes by walk);...More

Stopped in the courtyard at the back for drinks as we explored the area one evening. Food looked good but didn't taste any. Drinks were reasonable. Nice atmosphere.

Small beach town with incredibly beautiful villas around. Overpriced, but amazing! The beach is wonderful - white sand and small cabins for suntanning in the wind. Baltic Sea is a windy one, so this is the wonderful option to get the direct sunlight and not...More

First and last time we went there for a summer vacation (2010). Though old architectural houses are truly charming, the beach is absolutely overcrowded with people. Not even one inch space is left between the hundreds of rented out beach chairs and sunbrellas. Everyone needs...More

Binz is the main seaside resort on the island of Rügen, on Germany's Baltic coast. The architecture of the older buildings is very special: white-painted wooden fretwork (so-called Bäderarchitektur). Lovely promenade, free of all traffic (not even bicycles or Segways are allowed). Excellent pedestrianized high...More
