Have been playing here for many years. Like to finish a round and enjoy a few beers. Unfortunately on some cancer medication at the moment so no beer. Poured myself some water at the jug on the counter and asked for some ice as it was warm water. Was refused and told to buy some cold water ! I had already spent $90 in the pro shop, a bit of ice on a hot day !! Well the tight price won't get a been off me in future. Will be passing his hospitality issues on to everyone I meet. The manager is a Sad man.

Be prepared for the slowest round you'll ever play. Course is under new management and the speed of play is never marshalled. Took us 90 mins to play 5 holes yesterday before we walked off. They don't reduce the fees when the greens have been cored and sanded. Been laying here for over 5 years but no more.

Collier Park is a 27-hole championship standard public course that is descibed as "picturesque" and "challenging." Collier Park can be played as a 9-hole, 18-hole or 27-hole format. Bookings are required; no walk-ins. Collier Park has a well-equipped pro-shop. Tuition is available from novice to competition standard. Collier Park is located in South Perth; it is only 10 minutes by car frrom the city.

I play here many times and find the course most enjoyable. The rough is kept in check so hard to loose a golf ball but beware of the water. Greens are usually in top condition but being a public course allow four to five hours for 18 holes. Good tuck shop with excellent food and you can enjoy a beer at the end of your game. Sorry you can only book on line which is usually impossible hate it.

Collier Park Golf Course is re-opening. It will be open for groups of up to four, playing nine or 18 holes, from Thursday 14 May. On-line bookings are essential -- no walk-ins. The driving range, however, is free for all -- no bookings required. As usual, with bookings the earlier the better. The City of South Perth has the course in tip-top condtion.
