We had a lovely walk along here on a really sunny summers day. A mini train does run to the end of the pier but I definitely think it is worth the walk. The observatory is definitely worth booking online in advance as when we...More

Beautifully constructed timber jetty with light rail service integrated into the design with the most friendliest engineer operator. Cost of which for peak holiday family attraction was modest. The whole family enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the jetty marvelling at the timber structure & reading all...More

Loved this jetty, we walked but the little train service is not expensive and runs regularly. Enjoyed the historical displays of photographs and nice goods in the shop. Saw stingrays in the water too!

We walked to the end of the jetty and then caught the train back to the beach. The train driver was lovely and interesting to listen too. Didn’t do the aquarium as it seemed like a lot of money to spend on a small attraction.

It cost $4 per adult which we thought was fine. We walked the length of the jetty and our seven year old loved it. We saw kids diving and jumping from the jetty, questions to answer along the way and the train driver waved and...More

Yes definitely a baby carrier. You can walk up with a pram on the jetty if you fancy a stroll. Definitely worth a visit. 😀

In school holidays it would be best to book, but for any other time of the year just turn up. We did - and had a great time.
