Albany prides itself that the Anzacs left for Europe from here. This commemoration centre put together a very informative history of the first war. It is a must see. Allow yourself the time though, it is quite involved.

Definitely a must if you visit Albany, the museum was outstanding, the interactive format was very engaging. Easily lose yourself for a day wandering the grounds or learning about the sacrifices our Anzacs made. Brilliant

Wow - they have done the most brilliant job with Albany Heritage Park. There is an incredible amount of things to do. Not everything requires paid admission either. Recommend picking a rain free day, packing a BBQ (there are BBQs available undercover) or picnic, and...More

We did all of this with our Anzac centre. We spent about an hour walking through quickly. The kids enjoyed the hands on approach.

Take the drive up the hill from the Anzac centre for great views of town and the harbour where the diggers left from.

This is definitely one of the best tourism attractions I have visited in Australia. The Anzac Centre, along with the rest of the Heritage Park was fantastic. Make sure you also visit the Padre White lookout and Desert Corp memorial. Allow at least 2 hours
