Nice lake with walking track around perimeter for about 3km, also good for a ride with kids. Lots of bird life around and a car park along Golf Links Road which also has some information signage. Often people are out bird spotting around the lake...More

The lake is so close to the town and provides a quick get away from the town, as we went with a toddler it was pretty feasible to go out for an afternoon walk and the toddler saw some birds.
