$5 entry fee to have a look onboard and learn all about the history of the real ship. Otherwise you can still have a wander around outside for no fee but you won't learn as much.

It has to be the best model of a sailing ship of that era that we have seen. The attention to detail is incredible and the ability to walk around without a guide is the best. The audio commentary makes up for everything. Would love...More

Arrived late in Albany and thought that the grandkids would enjoy exploring the brig after the disappointment of not seeing the snow. They thoroughly enjoyed over a half hour of exploration but were a little shocked when the ticket lady locked up, not realising that...More

Great auditory by the Brig itself. and you are able to lift some trunks and go all over the Brig. The history is there but not too rambling. This is run by volunteers so you may have to go to the Museum ticket office to...More

Pretty cool for what it is. The kids love it. It can get pretty busy depending on when you go. Cool overall.

We were greeted by the guide and after a brief chat we toured the boat with audio commentary devices. How brave were these travelers? and such crsmped conditions, makes you think. The site is well laid out and we enjoyed our visit

Good activity when overcast as not a lot of people around. Suitable for all and put your imagination on and go back into their day. Another history item

The volunteer at the Amity on the day we were there, was amazingly helpful, informative and friendly! He even took some photos of our group on board! Our visitors were enthralled with his descriptions of the origins of the ship and with the general information...More

We went here when it was a dull day and enjoyed it. It is reasonably priced and you are given a handset which gives you all the information about the ship and its journey. Well worth a visit.
