Definitely recommend if you get to Albany before the end of April 2019. Easy parking, short walk, really pretty and very moving wakeup call to HOW MANY soldiers didnt return home to their families. 16,000 lights. Each light represents 4 soldiers. WOW

What an experience - 16000 lights situated on both sides and the road remembering the fallen from all wars but in particular the First World war. A commentary is available from any smart phone which explains much about the exhibition. In my opinion this is...More

This is so special - so respectful and peaceful. Almost feels like the old spirits are watching over us and appreciating the lights exhibition and the sharing of their heroic stories.

A must go to place if in Albany. Entry is free. Recommend to visit few minutes prior to sunset as the lights are only visible then. Though it opens at 5pm, a good time to visit is around 7pm! Had a very nice walk around.

If you haven not yet visited - don't walk....RUN! Only available until Anzac Day, this installation of 16,000 lights is incredibly moving and poignant. We visited on the Australia Day weekend and it was busy - however, people were respectful and reflective. An awesome experience.
