My visit to Burgess Beach was on a hot day without a cloud in sight. The water was aqua and crystal. Swimming on the beach looks dangerous but I enjoyed a great swim in what the locals refer to as "the washing machine". The beach...More

A spectacular vista worth a look.. Deep blue's and thundering waves crashing on the rocks.... This is just a little way out from the mainstream beaches...we only watched from a high vantage point , so I can't comment on the beach from a swimmers aspect......More

Great spot for a quiet dip or sun bake. Easy access on foot, sadly no disabled access. Great spot for photos.

My favorite beach in the Great Lakes area. Not so well populated in the summer as the rocky outcrops are not too good for children. However it is good for swimming and just lazing in the sun.Photogenic area.

Burgess Beach varies from sandy beaches between rocky platforms at good times, to all jagged rocky beaches between rocky platforms when the sand has been washed away by big seas. This is normal seasonal activity. This 'beach' is NOT patrolled by any lifeguards, so caution...More

Burgess Beach is about 5km from the bridge at Forster. The beach faces the sunrise and is good for sunrise photos - also with a bit of cloud can be good for sunset photos. The area is very rocky with some sheltered areas of sunny...More

This is a very small beach. Great for photos, fishing and small gatherings. It is surrounded by a residential estate.
