Mirima is an interesting small park but does not match the higher profile parks in the Kimberley region. However, if you are staying in Kununurra, it is worthwhile to do some of the short walks. The paths are well marked and steps and rails have...More

I noticed the local people really take advantage of this part in the evening for a lovely walk. We visited in the morning and in the evening and walked several trails. Although some trails are being upgraded, those that are available are exceptional. If you...More

Spent a short time here walking on one of the tracks. More signs on the tracks would have improved my visit. Fabulous surroundings. Complete with rock wallabies?

While visiting the area we decided to head out to the lookout. We did enjoy the national park but wish we had known the lookout was going to be a fair bit further walk but we did love the short walk we did.

Just on the edge of the townsite is the Mirima National Park. It is $13 entry per car for the day (cheaper for concession). There are three main walk tracks with varied levels of difficulty. The water had dried up by the time we got...More

Imagine living 5 min from a national park and being able to visit every day. I do, and every visit continues to be a joy. There is a fee but few pay it, just continue past it to the parking area. Boardwalks make the experience...More

Gosh, we don't remember whether pets are allowed! We didn't see any dogs, even on leashes, when we were there, but we're unsure about the policy.
