I really like body surfing in the waves and swimming and it can’t get much better than this. There were very few people on the beach and it was quite windy, but the water was beautiful and the waves just right. There are some nice...More

This is a very clean beach. If you like action this is not the place. It is very secluded, which is exactly what we wanted. The views are unbelievable, and waters are calm depending on the tide. Safe beach for kids to play.

Was at Coson in January and, and the sea was more tumultuous than usual because of storms at sea. I've been a strong swimmer since I was a toddler; grew up on the Red Sea. I swam out alone while my daughter went to get...More

The Coson beach is simply the best! It was our 2nd visit to DR and this time we made a roadtrip around the country so we’re able to compare with some of the other, maybe more famous beaches in DR. While Playa Rincon near Samana...More

A long white fine sandy beach never overly full. its quiet and the water is a clear turquoise. Take your own chairs or towels as there are no beach loungers.

This is a real great beach, kind of wild. So there are few services: one restaurant, kite services, hard to find not broken beach chair ))). And all is not important, the beach is so beautiful and of course the ocean. Nobody is bothering you...More

A gorgeous stretch of uninterrupted beach that you can walk for miles. Small resorts or villas dot the coastline but beautifully spread out. Feels so remote yet not far from town. A real treasure.

One of the best beaches I visited in the Dominican Republic. It was very quiet, almost didn't see any other people. It's also clean and nice.

Perfect beach to spend the day jumping in the waves, quick ride from Las Terrenas. Nicest beach in the area for us.

This is our second year vacationing here and we absolutely love this beach. We stay elsewhere but drive to this beach because it is so pristine and beautiful. We usually would have lunch at Cafe Coson or the Beach and stroll around the beach with...More

I agree with the others. Coson is more of a surfing beach. Where the reefs are, there are no waves breaking on the shore.
