Michael was an incredible host! We had the most amazing, fun afternoon. He was accommodating, kind and went along with our birthday celebrations. He felt like a friend we’ve known forever. I can’t wait to plan more trips with Michael!! Thank you again for such an amazing day at sea :-)

I’ve sailed on tours around the world, and mike has been the best host I’ve had regardless of destination. Weather you’re a local or visiting I highly recommend taking Michael and his boat tours !

My husband and I had a wonderul 4 day 5 night trip in Howe Sound with Captain Michael as our skipper and guide. Michael made us feel at home right away on his 42 foot Maple Leaf sail boat. We visited Smuggler's Cove, Secret Cove, Keat's Island (took a hike) and Gambier Island. Captain Michael made all of the meals and he did a fine job. He didn't let us cook or do dishes, ever, and he timed the dinners with the Sunsets. He even caught fresh crab for us and provided kayaks which we enjoyed one day. We were very fortunate to see a Humpback Whale the first day of our trip. We had sunny skies and calm seas, but we did get to sail for about a day and a half because enough wind came up for us. The shower and the bed are very rustic, but if you don't mind that, the views and sunsets are world class. Captain Michael has some entertaining stories and he likes it when you lend them an ear. It was the experience of a lifetime. I can see why the Howe Sound area is sacred. It is absolutely spiritual and spectacular.

The team from my office booked an afternoon with Captain Mike on his wonderful sailboat. We were awestruck by the natural beauty of the Howe sound including the many islands and impressive mountain ranges. Mike's knowledge of the area is extensive. His pleasant demeanor and witty humor made a great trip even better! Thanks Mike for the best day team day we have ever had!

The best way to explore Howe Sound and the coast, whether you go for a dinner cruise or out for a few days. Be sure to bring a bathing suit- be brave! Captain Mike is very inclusive and hands on if you want to participate. He finds the best places to anchor and soak in the sun set, go fishing, kayaking or just relax on deck. There are many charter options to choose from including having your own private chef.

My girlfriend and I spent a lovely afternoon Capt Mike on his comfortable sloop. We were surrounded by the impressive mountains of Vancouver and saw seals and porpoises as we sailed among the islands in Howe Sound. Truly a magical experience. The high point of our week long trip to Vancouver!

My small company took a 6-hour sail with Mike on the Orca Wind to celebrate 5 years in business. It was a great way to relax together and enjoy the beauty of Howe Sound. Mike was so friendly and knowledgeable with funny stories. He even sabred our champagne bottle for our celebration! We brought our own picnic lunch so he could focus on sailing while we enjoyed the beautiful view and sunshine. I hope we can do a dinner cruise or overnight cruise with Mike another time. Thanks for a very memorable day!
