Would have liked to arrive before 9am but unfortunately slept in so the sun was already well and truly up by the time we started the 3hr trek. This walk was recommended over the easier 1hr option and I must say it was breathtaking (literally...More

A great day overall! The hike although a little challenging is well worth the effort! Great guide Jason and bus driver Kevin! Both were informative and helpful!

Not as "vertically challenging" as North Rim at Kings Canyon or the climb at Uluru, the loop walk is still demanding. Both the 1st and 2nd lookouts are worth the effort, and outer reaches of the track also provide good vistas over the rocks. The...More

if you want a short walk, do Walpa Gorge - this walk doesn't improve until you get closer to the second lookout. If you're fit, finish the loop, if not, go back the way you came - lovely flowers (even this year, with little rain)...More

We walked the Valley of the winds in June of 2018. The paths are clearly marked and well maintained and safe to travel with children. The views are beautiful and the vivid red rocks against the blue sky beg your camera to keep clicking. BUT,...More

This walk gives you a small glimpse of Kata tjuta, without too much effort. The track is easy to walk.

This was the best thing we did while in the area. I can’t understand why Kata Djuta does not get more publicity. Better than Uluru which was still great.

It was windy when we climbed through the boulders, and cold but worth the extra layer. This place held feelings as well as view. An easy walk for everyone.

I enjoyed the views of the Olgas. I didn't really like this hike. Having spent a lot of time in the American Southwest, I considered this an average experience for the amount of time and money spent to get way out here.

We took the ‘hop on hop off’ bus (prebooked two day pass) which departed Ayers Rock Resort at 6:00am. The first stop was a sunrise viewing platform where we could see both Kata Tjuta (Olga’s) and Uluru. We then travelled to do this walk. It’s...More

We did an Aat tour. It was worth it for the knowledge of the tour guide. Makes the whole experience so much better. The weather will be very very hot in December so may be too hot to do a walk there. They cancel walk when... More

In mid-July, there were no flies at all. Although, it was very windy and cold.
