The Info boards give you the rundown on the locals story for the area. An easy walk from the carpark and the waterhole was liquid though the water was a bit tepid ! Good story of the various rock formations around the waterhole, with spearings,...More

Our navigation app OsmAnd did give us a wrong route to Kuniya parking lot so we did go around Uluru. At the crossing the Kuniya parking lot was not signposted. But because the other road did go to Cultural Centre I figured I should go...More

A short stop off walk on the way round the rock. Nearby car parking. Interesting rock art in recess with information boards on significance of rock shapes and rockface colourations in Aborigine folklore. Waterhole was a puddle at end of July 2018.

This place exemplified the variety of Uluru. It was full of trees - leafy and cool. My favourite part of Uluru.

This is a short easy walk from the parking area. It is interesting to see the one of the water cascade courses up close but don't miss the nearby rock art

We'd just completed segway tour & guide took us on foot to the waterhole, sharing very interesting history. It was amazing to stand and imagine the Anangu using it for a source of water. Nearby were some petroglyphs with equally interesting stories.
