Short walk, which allows you to see an aspect of Uluru in great detail. Great informative signage about the cultural importance of this site.

An easy walk to the waterhole with beautiful sights along the way. Interesting to see the rock formation and patterns that have been developed over time. A quiet and tranquil place if you are fortunate enough to be there in a small group. Don’t forget...More

In the cultural center there is a bit of info around the waterhole and the significance to the local people in the old time. so it was a thrill to also walk up and see this corner of the rock through that perspective

This waterhole is definitely worth your time to have a look. inside a section of the big rock, it is a little oasis. Make sure you look up t the right once on the viewing platform to see the heart shaped cave in he rock.

The waterhole was almost dry maybe lack of rains. Nothing fancy though just a small pool of water collected by the flowing water from the rocks.

About 30 minutes walk from the car park. An easy path & relaxing walk. Not a spectacular sight but worth a short visit and experience. After-all you are there - why not

A spiritual and peaceful area. Amongst the rock formations is a cool water hole with the 'womens' birthing place nearby.

Don't miss this you will be surprised at the water in such a desert spot. It is a beautiful spot and well with the visit.

It is one of two semi-permanent water holes at the base of Uluru. The entrance makes it easy to internally change gear. The traditional owners ask to respect the silence (and obviously: no swimming!). A signpost on the way in very well explains the creation...More
