Thank you so much for this beautiful time on the East Alligator River! We caught and released some three barramundis that were too small to keep, later one perfectly for dinner! And the wildlife on the river is amazing! Crocodiles, kites, and also paintings at the riverbank-rocks! Awesome!!

Excellent half day tour with Simon. Fabulous knowledge of the environment and waterways around Kakadu. We all caught fish (nothing big enough to take home unfortunately - some of the bigger Barra got away - hehe). The day was thoroughly enjoyable. Plus I really like a boat bigger than the crocodiles!!
It’s such a great pleasure to spend time in such a beautiful place in Australia with a great guide.

Did the half day Barra fishing last week up the Adelaide River, Kakadu. Simon was a great guide - 2 couples on the boat - we caught 13 all up - 2 keepers so everybody happy :) :) :) :)

Simon was the best. Caught a heap of fish and gained so much knowledge about the area.
If you are limited with time like we were it’s the perfect afternoon out - 5 star

Fishing operator was not friendly or made the experience enjoyable. No fish taken home at the end of the day. Pretty disappointing all round.

What a great experience! The knowledge of the guide on where to catch fish was great. Knew so much about the area. Fresh Barra for tea went down a treat with the family!

The morning on the river was beautiful, cool, quiet, scenery, rock art, birds, lots of crocs and over a dozen Barra between our two couples - amateurs at best. Judy caught a big one, which our brilliant guide Brett somehow landed and later filleted. It was delicious! Thanks to the staff at Kakadu Lodge for cooking it
