This is an experience where you have the privilege of feeling you are a special guest invited into the "home" of the people of these lands. Robert our guide shared a truly insightful snapshot of living in Arnhem Land. I have an interest in bird...More

We were so privileged to be guests on this cultural cruise on the East Alligator River and to step onto Arnhem Land. Our guide Tyrone is a wonderful young man with so much knowledge of his people and the land. Highly recommended this experience.

This cruise is not about rattling information off parrot fashion - the guides tell it from the heart, it is their land and they are proud to share some of it's secrets with their guests, Thank you Robbie for a great trip.

My first reaction to our indigenous guide, Hilton, was that he didn't have the confidence to carry it off. How wrong I was. The stories of what the locals did with the various trees and other plants got me in. A paperbark tree is just...More

Well worth doing. It's a relaxing cruise up and down the East Alligator River that allows you to see lots of big saltwater crocs up close and personal, and lots of birdlife - the latter very much aided by the guide Robbie's sharp eye for...More

Really interesting and good cruise. Hilton was a champ, especially after he said he barracked for the Carlton Blues. Fish were jumping, sea eagles, bird life and crocs everywhere, we counted 8 on one 15m stretch of beach. We went on the 3 p.m. cruise,...More

This cultural and nature cruise on the East alligator river is absolutely magic. The boats are small allowing an intimistic relation with the river, the animals and the guide. Thanks to Robbie our Tour Guide and boat Captain.

Yellow water is a wetland with lots of bird life, crocodiles and the scenery is very different. There is a wet and dry season and this is the start of the dry season but there is still a lot of water around so I am not sure... More
