If you are doing the Victorian Precinct you will at some stage find yourself outside this place. If it is open, you will not regret taking a peep.

Popped in a few times about a query and possible work to be done. Like walking back in time no doubt and although lovely service by a lady who took messages have not met bookbinder yet. Not a lot to see.

Lovely small shop within antique book printing/making equipment, accompanied with smell of wooden glue and printing inks. Make sure you chat with shop owner- you will learn a lot about book printing.

Michael is wonderful - we need more of his type. He's passionate about his craft, the preservation of the precinct, and a great raconteur to boot. A treat to visit his shop and chat.

As opposed to many reviews here, I had actually visited this bindery as I was interested in commissioning a full leather binding for a hand written translation of a French book I had done. When I asked for a rough estimate of cost, Michael immediately...More
