We did one day of the trail due to time. There are lots of operators that offer this service. We cycled from tekapo power station 2 ( along lake Pukaki ) to Twizel. Very scenic with Autumn colours and Mt Cook was in the background...More

Beautiful trail, but someone will get killed cycling on the road sections. For those who know New Zealand, the roads are packed with inexperienced tourist drivers and large trucks and motor homes. There are no/very few dedicated bike lanes.More

This is an amazing cycle ride through some of the most beautiful parts of NZ. Scott from Trail Adventures was a fantastic host, looking after all our needs without being too obtrusive. I couldn't recommend him enough.
