Visited on Saturday 19th May. Called in to get a map and details on what to see there. The staff just pointed to where the brochures were and didn't really seem interested in making sure we found what we were looking for.

Called in on a rainy day to get some info on a whale watching flight. The ladies couldn't have been more helpful, and contacted the airport for us. Unfortunately, the weather got worse and we didn't get to go, but the service was just great.

We arrived in Kaikōura without a reservation, which with hidsight was an error. The lady in the iSite rang round for us until she found us a room at the Churchill Park Lodge - excellent, helpful service.

The lady a the desk helped us plan our day as our Camper broke down and we had to stay another night in Kaikoura waiting for it to be fixed. Showed us a map and things we could do that were walking distance.

We gained lots of information and help concerning local activities from the ladies running this operation. They will even book tours etc for you. They are always very busy due to the large numbers using the facility, so be patient.More
