Grand-daughter and son came down from Auckland and made use of the skating rink in The Square (in the sun) and it was voted a great success.

The square is in the center of Palmerston North, very well maintained and has lovely rose gardens, statues, ponds and ducks lovely park to stroll around with lots of trees and seating.
