Stopped after several drives back and forth driving between Wellington and New Plymouth. It's a small shop but packed full of honey related goods. We purchased some honey (you can taste a lot of the different varieties), a dipped and, of course, some ice cream....More

right next to SH1, easy parking and bloody great ice creams......what's not to stop for? Has a small honey related shop as well.....but the ice creams!!!!

Stopped in here on the way back from Foxton for an ice cream and it's possibly the most delicious ice cream I've ever had. You pick you flavour then which fruit you want then it's blended and bingo you have heaven in a waffle cone.

We stopped in and had a look around. Interesting place to stop for a quick look around to break your journey or infrequent visit unless you particularly wanted specific honey or bee related product fairly regularly. Lots of alternative health products (we're fairly sceptical). Lots...More
