Amazing place
Oct 2021 • Family
Wow what an amazing place, the kids just loved all the animals. The new owners have put a lot of work into the place and you can see they really care for the animals and love what they are doing.
The kids have already asked "when can we go back".

Visited twice during September, both days great, last one was Reptile day with crocodile feeding. Boys ( 5 and nearly 4)
Loved their visit, the reptiles and the lizards. New owners and they are working to improve facilities but still a wonderful place to visit.

Very nice small park. Great interactive place for kids. They provide food for guests to feed animals. Good experience. I visited during a cruise ship excursion.

Rescue, Rehabilitation & Release
Jul 2021
People in this Park is doing an amazing job. They don’t just rescue the animals when mum has been injured or killed, they also look after them until they are ready for an outside life. The park is really well look after and so are the animals there. Is a beautiful experience for $12 per adult. Kids could see some popular animals from Australia. If you are in Geraldton or around this visit is a MUST! Thanks to all the team for their explanation on how they work rescuing animals from the road, it’s amazing that is still people like this around the world 💚 THANKS

Must go place!
Apr 2021 • Couples
It was great!! Loved the joeys and the birds, all of them are super cute! Lil birdie did some dancing too!!! They’re all rescued animals and the roos that aren’t fully capable to stay in the wild stays with them. More than 90% of the rescued roos goes back to the wild so they definitely need all the help they can get to raise these poor roos whose parents were killed in an accident. Remember to get a pack of food for them when you get in - they aren’t expensive and it’s fun too. Frodo is the largest marsupial which is a red kangaroo and Veronica is a wallaroo.

Great place

Great place to spend a few hours. The owner clearly loves her job and educated the kids about the animals. Kids got to hold the reptiles and could pat and feed most of the animals.

Great experince
Oct 2020 • Family
It was the first time our daughter saw and touch animals. And the animals were friendly enough for us to feed and for our baby to touch. Such a special time. We had fun with the talking birds, the friendly hors, kangaroos and a little calf we got to feed. Staff was very friendly and explained all we wanted to know. They are all very passionate about animals and rescue if them. It was a Great experience ai we hope to come back again!

Left Feeling a Little Sad
Jan 2020
The people seemed lovely and welcoming. However, we were surprised at the condition of the animal enclosures. The bird enclosures were quite small and sparse, with only a few dead branches for the birds to sit on. The dingoes seemed sad and the ground of the kangaroo enclosure was just dead grass covered in kangaroo poo and did not look well maintained. I understand that maintaining such a place with limited funds would be very difficult, and do sympathise with the owners if this is the case. However, we left feeling quite sad about all the animals there as only the goats seemed to be happy. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something similar in the area, to go to Rainbow Jungle in Kalbarri. It is a lovely bird park that is very well maintained and cares for a lot of endangered species.

Gday , thats a shame you felt the way about the place, We are the owners and the park was being managed by someone else at the time of your visit, we hope you return one day and see the place again. The kangaroos are given fresh browse every day and destroy everything else as nothing grows too well in the clay ground. They are non releasable and this was a last chance at survival as they cannot be released back to the wild. Greenough Wildlife Park is a non government funded Wildlife Park who do their very best to maintain the animals life and living conditions to the best of the animal & its health. We have some very unique Australian Wildlife who we have given a home to over the years. We hope to see you again some day, maybe in a winter month when everything has a chance to grow green again...you would of noticed the prevailing winds blow everything dry from December to March. Take care

Fantastic experience!!
Oct 2019 • Family
Fantastic morning spent at the park visiting an array of friendly furry friends. We were able to feed and get up close to various animals including kangaroos, emus, goats, sheep, dingos, crocodiles, birds. If you get an opportunity to stop in, please do so as the park is run by a wonderful team of volunteers who dedicate their time to rescuing and nurturing these much loved animals. Cuddling the joey was a particular highlight. This place is a must to visit!!
