Crossing the footbridge and you get a open wide view of the beautiful ocean. Soft sandy beach and big enough for everyone to get their own space. You can take a nice walk for a couple of hours along.

Once you have crossed the only footbridge in Lakes Entrance it is only a short walk over the sand dunes to the surf beach. The view is breath and you can see surf as far as your eye can travel, in both directions. Very invigorating...More

The walk from the foot bridge along the forest one way and the beach on the other side is the best way to appreciate the long strip of land between Lakes Entrance and the ocean. The beach goes on and on nothing else in sight,...More

We walked across the footbridge near town to get to the beach and were impressed with an expanse of white sandy beach over the ridge. Very nice.

You walk over a lovely bridge to access the beach. There are toilets and a kiosk and the beach is clean and just what you would expect from a beach. Wheelchair friendly too

Though we were not here for Beach experience, as we were at Lakes Entrance mainly for boat rides and sight seeing ativities nearby, we were quite impressed by the beach. Accessible by scenic foot bridge and close to town centre it was quite empty... probably...More

As others have said, this lovely beach is beautiful and unspoiled. No rubbish, spotless golden sand and the blue waters of Bass Strait. We did not swim here during our visit as the northern part of the beach closest to our motel was not patrolled...More

We live in lakes, however only go to the beach occasionally.. Should go more often as it's a beautiful beach. We've been to beaches all over the world, but I don't think we have found any that are much better. You can access the beach...More

As this beach has a South eastward outlook, it is a perfect place to get some picture perfect photos of the sunrise. In the Christmas season the beach is patroled by the volunteers at the surf lifesaving club. These guys do a fantastic job day...More
