This impressive museum of war was opened in 1921 to commemorate those from Bendigo who died in the Great War. It was refurbished in 2015 and houses an impressive collection of war records and collections.More

INCREDIBLE!!! A large collection, well curated with a stunning new wing filled with two art collections which I thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend for everyone. $6 or less per person. Right in the centre of Bendigo with lots to see and do nearby.

The Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Memorial is great old architecture with a new modernist wing added this year. It has war history but we did not see inside. Part of a great architectural group along Pall Mall and the Bendigo CreekMore

Beautiful building with an amazing Honour Roll expressing thanks to the sacrifice so many families gave to serve the country. Visting today there is a sign advising the building is currently closed and will not be open till later in 2017.
