One of the best things to do in Bendigo!! Great value - lots of interesting interactive exhibits, great shows, and fun science toys in the shop.

We have visited many times and the kids absolutely love it! The school holiday programs are put together extremely well and it's always a really fun and educational experience.

Some of the exhibits look dated but youthful and enthusiastic hosts (e.g., planetarium) add fresh wonder and knowledge. Boys enjoyed the visit and exercised their courage after a few no-tries on the 2-storey vertical slide. Enjoyable family time.

Thanks for your review. Glad to hear your children had a great time! It's difficult keeping an old railway shed spic and span so we're always happy for some help from our little visitors. We hope to have you back again!

Such a fun place for kids and adults alike. The interactive exhibits are a great educational tool for kids to learn about science. The planetarium is great fun, and the and giant slide well worth a go!

Thanks for the vote of confidence - and yes, V/line is a great way to arrive from Swan Hill, Echuca or the Melbourne line.

The Discovery Centre provided a range of hand on activities that kept the children engaged for more than 3 hours. We could have stayed longer but we had other plans for the day. Well worth the $48 for pensioner and 3 children. The staff were...More

Great way to spend an hour and a half on a Sunday afternoon. Out kids are 11 & 12. Much older and they’d lose interest I think. Lots on hands on science experiments. Topped off by half an hour on the vertical slide. It allows...More
