A wonderful quiet peaceful place to unwind on lovely soft grass under the old trees. Pleasant hothouse open until 5.30pm - the blooms currently are wonderful & colourful.
Various statues & features around the park to look at & read (eg settlers stories).
We stayed directly opposite this glorious Victorian era park. Fantastic trees, a beautiful conservatory with orchids etc, the only group of Japanese Macaques on display in Australia, historic fountains, lovely flower beds - so enjoyable to just stroll through, as we did a few times....More
Right in the middle of the city, this smallish Park is so cool! Not only does it have monkeys but also train rides for the kids. $2.50 per person for the train ride, adults can go on too. There is also a train theme playground!...More

This is a beautiful park. We visited in spring so it was superb to wander around. There are some insteresting statues and monuments including the drinking fountain pictured.
