This was our first visit to Glenelg Beach and we were pleasantly surprised. The beach is sandy and water blue, lots of people going for walks, sunbaking and having a swim. Enjoyable.

To go there, we rode a tram from the city to reach the beach. Just walk around and it is excellent for picnics and i could say it is stunning.

Facing west, this popular Adelaide beach offers beautiful sunset view on daily basis. It has soft white sand to enjoy but most of the part of the shore has been developed. It was also the last destination of the city tram which you may want...More

There’s something about the beach that brings calm to the soul. No matter what roars to my shore, I just have to remember they are just waves. It will subside. It will roar again, but so will it subside. I love being at the beach.

Great for morning run. Lovely kiosk on the beach. Perfect for a snack after a walk/run or just breakfast with beautiful view.

I would rate Glenelg beach as kids friendly, plenty of space for kids to play in the sand, at the playground and in the water. Gentle wave, long gradual incline of the water, life guard tower nearby.

Great beach with soft golden sand ideal for sunbathing on a sunny day. There's also a beach bar next to the pier and located on the beach

I had a lovely walk from Glenelg to Brighton and back watching the sunset on my walk! It wasn't anything like the busy Bondi so it was a delight to see!

No I didn't see any on the general beach. There is however a beach resort which can be utilised.
