Interesting vegetation; great views from the summit; plenty of interesting little (and not so little walks)

I think its the highest point locally at around 1300m - great 360 degree view - my wife runs there from the town. Very steep final 2km's on narrow sealed road. There are toilets up the top but not much else.

Great views at the top of Orange and surrounds. Picnic area there too and walks to do if you want. Lots of wineries in this area too.

Wonderful sunset, definitely worth a drive up to the top and enjoy the changing colours of the sky in West as well as east.

Scenic drive to the to, through farming and orchards. Passed a lovely picnic ground on the way. Worth the winding drive to see the vista below. Great weather the day we went so the clear skies provided a perfect view.

Distant views were grey and did not make the best photography but appreciated the potential on a clear day. The fauna and the remaining late spring flowers show that early spring would be the best time to visit. Did not get to walk to the...More

Although the day I rode to the summit was cool and quite overcast, this was not the reason for my disappointment. The view is "marred" by towers (I knew that before ascent.) and trees. As with Mt Kaputar (outside Narrabri) and Mt Sugarloaf which used...More
