After climbing the stairs, the walk is a great way to see The Newcastle coastline in all its glory...the cut outs are awesome and the soldiers names add authenticity and meaning to the site A fantastic tribute to the men that protected our great country

Easy to access walk with spectacular views over the ocean. Great spots for selfies. Great for exercise or a stroll - whatever suits your energy levels.Parking available but we walked from Newcastle beach in about 20 minutes.

I often do this walk with my friends or family. It has fantastic views and a fantastic view platform to spot whales on their annual migration or the local dolphin population that often surf the waves or just cruise on by gracefully.

Fantastic views and historical info! Great walk to do day it night. We did the walk at night and the lighting was good. There are also plenty of people around in the warmer months making it feel quite safe.

Not long about 500m but it links the coast walk from Newcastle beach up the hill and Bar beach... it's stunning and there's lots of information and art work so it's really engaging

I wouldn’t recommend it in winter when it’s cold but otherwise nonissue if it’s windy as very safe. You may also get a chance to see the hang gliders launching off the top which is great to see 😊
