Poor service and dirty camping sites
Dec 2020
I made a booking with them and I wanted to reschedule to date. Person name is Alex Jones or Cherly Cairns did not want help at all. They did not accept to refund as well. Their customer service is terrible and unprofessional. I do not recommend this camping to anyone. Campsite does not provide any facilities at all and very dirty.

Natural Beauty
Feb 2020
We drove through the park to reach a great campsite near the beach at Seal Rocks. The tall trees are amazing! It was hard to find an easy route to view the lake, but the glimpses we caught were beautiful.

Amazing area of unspoilt beauty
Feb 2020
We have lived in the Hunter Region for years but had never had the time to vist Myall Lakes, and it really is a beautiful area to visit. Unspoilt beaches, rainforest walks, wildlife - it really is another world and just an hour up the road from Newcastle. Camping is mostly unpowered sites but in beautiful locations, so if you are self sufficient its perfect. Even just a drive through is well worth the detour from the highway.

Beautiful Camping
Dec 2019 • Family
Beautiful place to camp, green, lake is lovely, and not too crowded. No showers, but there are some in at Hawkes Nest beach, that is also the closest supermarket.

Myall River and Myall Lakes are enchanting
Nov 2019
We launched our 3.5 metre Smartwave poly boat and 25 hp 4 stroke Yamaha at the excellent launching ramp at Tea Gardens between the Singing Bridge and Mumm's restaurant and take away. Threading our way up the magical Myall River between islands, river banks, sanctuaries, small settlements and National Park for 25 kilometres with about 35% 4 knot speed limits brings you to The Broadwater.

From there we continued up Myall River on the North Western shore of this first lake (rather than the Lakes at the north eastern end) we reached Buladelah - a total of 42 kilometres one way. Enchanted by black swans, sea eagles, hawkes and dolphins along the way. Took us 2.5 hours each way. Best to allow 3 hours if you observe speed limits and average 20 knots on the unrestricted sections.

On the return journey on the Lower Myall River we followed 8 dolphins feeding as the moved downstream through under the Singing Bridge to the oyster leases. It was calm so we scotted out on Port Stephens before returning to the launching ramp and dinner at Mumm's on the Myall restaurant. (Highly recommended).

Marvellous Myall Lakes
Jun 2019
Early winter visit means the park is uncrowded and the animals are very friendly. Saw many varieties of parrots, dolphins and kangaroos.

Good camping areas for families next to lake. Close to surf beach. Close to Hawks Nest. Great for swimming, kayaking, beach fishing.

Really loved the couple of hour we spent in the national park. So picturesque everywhere you look with lots of native wildlife. Highly recommend a visit.

A beautiful park.
Sep 2018 • Couples
This is a tranquil and beautiful park both for a drive or a stroll.
We spent apx. 2 hours driving through the park until reaching the caravan park at Bombah point, where you can get on board the ferry with your car to cross the 50 meters of water.
Naturally, you'd probably encounter some wildlife, too, which is always fun.

Definitely worth a visit, the scenery is just beautiful ever changing along the way. So peaceful. Spotting the wild life along the way.
