Great for a swim whether doing laps or just cooling off. There is a disabled ramp behind the dressing rooms which allows access to the pool area, then there is a ramp that goes into both pools, one pool for adults and the other for...More

This is s nice place to visit the baths are a good facility. Not heated so cold in winter. Parking is an issue so you can’t get close . The coffee shop is nice and very busy.

Great oceans baths only 10mins from Newcastle CBD Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy & to cool those hot summer days down Parking can be a problem due to its popularity in the warmer months

For generations, families have been enjoying the baths. Protected from the surf, there are 2 pools which suit from toddlers to experienced swimmers.

It's like a big bath but cold, salty and often full of sea-lice, and grumpy swimmers who don't like it when you swim lengthways.

Swim anytime, they definitely don't close unless they are draining it for cleaning . I've been late at night during a hot summer Newcastle night and it was packed.
