Knowing that this church survived a Japanese attack and also earthquake and still is architecturally intact and interesting is amazing. If you visit this church also take some time to walk through the graveyard behind and read the inscriptions of those interred there.

Old church dominating the highest point in Newcastle. Not as impressive as the great European cathedrals but lovely inside. and worth a look.

Well appointed cathedral on the hill of the city. Beautiful interior. The park behind is worth a wander too. Historical graves. Great view of the city and the Hunter River.

What a magnificent building. Has a huge history and honours our service personnel with many displays. Sad to see that the cathedral suffered lots of damage in the earthquake years ago and repairs to internal walls remind us of a sad time for Newcastle. Lovely...More
