Generally use this area in the warmer months when we go camping with friends. Great walks to attempt and nice and quiet for relaxing and chatting with friends.

Washpool National Park is an easy drive from Grafton or even easier from Jackadgery. We spent a lovely day enjoying the scenery, get location for candid family photos down by the creek.

During a recent stay in Glen Innes, drove out to Washpool National Park. Lovely picnic spot, good facilities for BBQ and picnics. Some lovely walks, felt like we were the only people there. Highly recommended.

Worth the drive over a rather rough track to camping area and walk. Magnificent trees, great viewpoints along the main road which goes through the park.

We did the Washpool Walk which was pretty but unfortunately the signposting was not ideal in parts. The forest itself is lovely and the walk follows a little creek in parts. Be prepared for mud and leeches...lots of leeches.

When the water is flowing the Washpools is an idyllic place to visit. Beautiful location, great place to camp and a super place to take children - lots of places to discover and a lot of fun in the water by the entrance.
